“For the past fifty years I have received excellent care and treatment for my glaucoma. However, recently I was diagnosed with macular degeneration, and was at a total loss as to what I could or should to do.
I was referred to the Association for the Blind and Visually Impaired, by my Retinal specialist, in July 2016. Their caring professionals and staff made me feel comfortable with my problem, and helped me with vision enhancement devices. I’m now able to read my New York Times again!
I came to my ABVI appointment “frozen”, but they gave me Hope!” –Charlotte, age 96
